Move, but not more than you need to. Don’t panic. Here I’m using a fairly sorry hand cannon, especially since it hadn’t been leveled yet, but I’m able to wipe a team of 6 in < 30 seconds. I got a 7th just past the end of this clip. You can see what happened there, but the kill wasn't counted until just after. I haven't analyzed yet. It seems they came too fast for their to be repeats in the first 6, but I didn't verify every tag. Either way, 6 kills, 30 seconds. It helps that the void hunter is amazing at control.
I tend to play better when I make smaller movements. Little changes, ducking and standing, side to side. Most importantly, don’t ever ‘walk’ blindly around corners. Slide, duck, jump, anything but walk. If you can see around a corner, such as the tree right before the triple kill, line up the shots and step out. After a little practice on each map, you should get a feel for where head height is, and with some practice, you can find them when players are squatted too.
I really like the hunter’s void abilities. I think these offer the best map control from all of the other available abilities in the game. By controlling the map, such as shadowshot, smoke, AoE nades, you can force others into an area you can maintain, forcing all the red around you into one funnel , or keeping them at a distance, and watching the radar to avoid backing into something. I’m fairly exposed to snipers here, but I had a good feel for my team on the other end of the bridge, hopefully looking near there, where I would’ve been worried about getting hit.
I typically do a lot of sniping, so map awareness is key, and don’t panic when you see swarms, I’m always so tempted to just start jumping all over the place, and that tends to get me killed. A jump/roll to get safe from a sniper, or behind someone that snuck up on you is definitely helpful, but be smooth, and make sure you can see down the sites and control where you’re pointing the thing..
